Musical Meez – Music videos galore!
Thank goodness for this past 3-day weekend! It looks like a lot of you were super productive out there in MeezTube land. Here’s our latest roundup of some hot music videos. I’d say we’ve got a nice mix genres today, from a G-Munii club hit to Spice Girls to High School Musical to Sweeney Todd!
“Rock Ta Dis” by G-Munii
Hailing from Maryland, G-Munii’s management contacted Meez directly to make sure they could produce the best music video for “Rock Ta Dis.” Looks like an instant club hit to me! Check out G-Munii’s other songs on his MySpace profile.
The Spice Girls’ “2 Become 1″ by shawscoveroadian
For those of you not caught up in celebrity gossip “what are they doing now?” blogs, The Spice Girls are going on a worldwide reunion tour! I must admit that Spice World was one of the first CDs that I bought with my own money… I love that shawscoveroadian properly did Sporty, Baby, Ginger, Scary, and Posh (my favorite) here.
High School Musical’s “You are the Music in Meez” by chopstix94
I luuuuuuuuuurve musicals – They’re just so deliciously campy – but I still haven’t seen High School Musical! HSM2 is coming out soon and I feel so far behind. The little I know of Zac Efron comes from watching him in Hairspray and reading his interview in Rolling Stone. “You are the Music in Meez” makes the show’s token love song so cute – Great job, chopstix94!
“Sweeney Todd Character Trailer 2007″ by Shadow71689
Sweeney Todd is another production I have high on my list of musical must-sees. The demon barber of Fleet Street will be snipping his way to the silver screen this year, under the direction of Tim Burton (!). Shadow71689 created the characters to look like the actors who will be portraying them, including Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, and Alan Rickman. With that cast and a Stephen Sondheim score, you can’t go wrong.
