This week was really exciting in the forums for a lot of reasons: Lucy, Angie, Ginger and Roscoe made an executive decision that the popular Rate Me forum would be combined as a TOPIC (instead of a whole forum) into the brand-spankin’ new forum called Social Life.

Social Life will be the hip place to learn all those important lessons that you don’t get to learn in school. It’ll be a place to go to find friends, love and get advice to help you through those rough times. The ever popular “Ask Ginger Meez” advice topic will be moved there; and, rumor is that Angie Meez plans on starting a “How To” topic of her very own. That Angie is super crafty, so you’re sure to find some uber-cool projects in that topic!

Word on the street is that it will go live in the dead of the night tonight… so keep your eyes peeled tomorrow and be the first one to check it out!

In other Forum News, this week found Meez’s very own Bellenarcissa being promoted from the rank of Volunteer Moderator to that of Forum Administrator. This means that she’s joined the ranks with Lucy, Angie, Gigi and Roscoe as an official employee for Meez. Already she’s knee deep in the trenches doing a great job of wielding her “banhammer” for good, not evil… We already notice the forums turning into a Meezier-pleazier place under her watchful eye. What a Cinderella story this is! She’s gone from Meezer to Mod to Admin… this just shows that it could happen to anyone of you given enough hard work!

A shoutout to Catwalkv2, who got a really cool new tattoo this week of her baby’s footprint on her ribs. My spies say that she gritted her teeth through the pain and is really happy with the results.

Another shoutout for Moueska, who started a petition in Suggestions asking for more skin colors: The petition is now 90 signatures strong and rumor has it that it was so convincing an argument that Meez HQ has taken the matter under advisement. Who knows? Someday you might be able to have purple or silver skin!!! Way to get involved in making Meez the place you want it to be, Moueska!

And, a general shoutout to all the wonderful Meezers who were so gracious in helping the displaced Rate Me fans to find homes on the other open boards (13-15, Open Board and Meezer Geezers for those of you NOT in the know!!) Everyone seems to be adjusting nicely and making new friends. It’s super Meezy!
