Cool Video: Hip Hop Hijabis
In a cool coincidence, the day before the start of Ramadan we found this cool YouTube video posted by Samah007 featuring a Meez avatar in one of our hijabis rapping to Poetic Pilgrimage’s “Definition of a Pilgrim.” We think that Samah007 used her Meez avi in a really cool way to express her personal beliefs – way to go!

My children have also been talking with kids from allover the world on your website, who celebrate Ramadan. Some of them were unaware that hijabis are available.
This website is so cool, because kids from allover the world are able to speak to each other, without prejudice or preconceived notions. Or they’ve been “dancing” and rocking out only to realize they live on opposite sides of the world. The other day we had kids from Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Holland, Egypt, Jemen, the USA and Germany in the same room, rocking out, and discussing how difficult it is to fast until sundown. What an opportunity for cultural exchange without even being aware of it.
